Great Food and friendly staff

First night in Courtenay/Comox. We were in the mood for pub fare and atmosphere. Walked over to the Whistle Stop for dinner. Monday night quiet in the pub which allowed for normal volume when talking across the table. Waitress was very friendly. The FOOD!!! $0.20 wings and $0.35 prawns!!! Wings were excellent, tender meat and crispy skin with very good flavour. The prawns were dripping in garlic (which we love) and came with melted butter for dipping. Hmmmm .... good thing we walked; helped burn off the calories. Draft was on special as were paralysers, great way to wash everything down. Recommend without a doubt. We will return.
